I have two sugar gliders that I have had for about 4-5 months. They are not bonding with me and one of them tries to bite. I am very sad and frustrated. Not sure what to do?

Petarus brevicapus fan Yeah, animals often just need their time with this. I agree to the baby-steps and reasearch. Try making you something they want to come to, maybe with food-rewards? If that's the way you choose, make sure they don't try to eat and bite n you though, this might increase nagging. Also, try to be very, very calm with them. Maybe put some old clothes to use by making a pouch? Then it wwill be a cozy place smelling of you. 😉

BYK_Chainsaw do some research, there are tons of ways to start getting them used to you. and even with consistent work it can take time. I always work at making them make small progress, BABY STEPS. once they do something more, i move to the next step. facebook has a group called guardians that will give you a mentor and help you work thru the problems.
