Well it seems I am making progress with Rocky but not Rex, he is so stubborn lol! Rocky will come to my hand and take things gently from me. Rex tries to bite my hand off and take off with the treats LOL!!
I hope to find Rocky a home soon but luckily Rex already has a home. His owner is trying to get things together so that he can bring Rex home.
Apple and the rest are doing fine. They have discovered blueberry yougurt and like it alot better than strawberry yogurt. I had opened the cage to give them some yogurt and Apple who always climbs out onto me stopped at the yougurt container that I was holding and tried to pry the lid off to get to it LOL!!
I opened it and the lil stinker started licking the lid clean and tried to climb inside of the container. I laughed so hard! I finally wrestled her back into the cage and fed them all some yogurt.
I wonder what other flavors they like? LOL
for the record the yogurt was not sugar free...and was not low fat LOL
Rex snuck up on me and tried to take off with my spoon LOL!!
Oh well maybe his new owner can tame him .......

My suggies are cool parents to their babies and one morning I was being crabbed at by Rex (the one that hates me lol) and his momma who no longer crabs at me and will come up to my hand ....SWATS him!!
I guess she was telling him to shut up LOL..
about time!! LOL :)

I have 7 sugar gliders well actually 5 now. I have two females (adults) and 1 male (adult) and 2 baby boys who are now old enough to go to new homes.
My lil family was kinda just thrown together and I was so happy to tell others that my girls had babies. They each had 2 babies. My hopes and happiness was dashed as some people began telling me that the mothers would cannibalize the babies and I lived in fear. One day I saw each momma with her babies and they all looked healthy and happy. I'm proud to say my babies have great mommas and they grew up happy and healthy and a lil spoiled rotten. :)
My little girl Strawberry (Apple is her mom) left me yesterday and went to a guy who lives at home and is disabled but has been doing lots of research on suggies. He ran into my hubby at a petstore while My hubby was buying mealies. He has been waiting patiently for a while but now they are his to love and spoil even more rotten than they already are.
Oh! I forgot to add that he also took Strawberry's brother Kiwi for his daughter. I miss them but I know if he needs my help with them he will call. I gave him a suggie care sheet too.
Now to get Rex and Rocky tamed LOL (They are Roxie's babies)
They crab at me all the time especially Rex. He is the smallest but he is feisty. LOL
I am content that my babies are going to be well taken care of and lo and behold Apple is pregnant again. I will let her raise these babies and then Rodney (the daddy)is going to give her a rest. Kinda strange that she was still nursing when I noticed she was pregnant again..?
Anyway that is my happy news and I hope that others will be happy for me as well instead of criticizing me ......
I only wanted to give my boy Rodney a family and he loves all of them.
I have never seen him so happy as to having a baby chew on his ears or bite his tail. He is so gentle with them even during bath time which they hate LOL I always hear fussing and notice that Rodney is trying to bathe an unwilling baby.
When he has had enough of them he goes and sleeps in his barrell of monkeys barrell LOL
Most of the time he sits perched on his branch watching his family eat or play. I know he is finally happy because a family makes you whole.
