M3lissaO I think they prefer the smaller nestbox.

kazko I am trying out a new and smaller nestbox for the family. The camera lens is narrower and the animals appear closer and better quality than before. Plus the white box helps the image to appear better quality as well. The black box would fool the camera into thinking it was darker in there and it would turn up the gain on the camera thusly making artifacts in the image.

kazko I think it is amazing that there are 8 sugar gliders in the nestbox now and on cam. That cage is growing smaller by the day.

kazko Well the other pinkie was left behind tonight so I am calling it as a 9/09/07 OOP for them.

kazko One of Kimmie's pinkies was left behind tonight. Turns out she is a girl and I added a few photos in my album. Was fun watching Daddy stay behind in the nest to tend to the kiddos.

kazko Well the family is now called The Sugar Shack and they have a new tower cage and a new nestbox. I hope the detail will be good enough to be able to watch the 4 babies in the nestbox.

kazko Well the family is in a plastic gourd now. The camera is within easy reach and they keep pulling the tape off that covers the light sensor so the camera senses external room light and does not use the IR Leds. Guess it will have to be a useless cam until their new cage arrives.

kazko The older pair of joeys opened their eyes today. I wish I had a better nestcam for these guys so you could see it here.

kazko New cage is arriving in a few days and I already have a large nestbox that should work very well with a camera.
