If you have gliders in a illegal state, you NEVER take your gliders out. whether this tops your enjoyment I am unsure but it is a fact of life. Here in MA I am nervous enough and nobody actively searches. I believe taht is not the case in CA as gliders could probably survive outside there making them a real "hazard" as far as the Wildlfe people consider.

: : But seriously.. A) Would you really be caught? B) By who? I am interested in getting a sugar glider and I also live in S. CA...

: You could get caught. You probably won't but there is always the chance. What if you take your glider everywhere with you and decides he wants to play and leaves your person. True good, trained gliders probably won't do this but what if they did. Somone who doesn't know what they are finds them and ask questions. True it's a worst case scenario. All you need is one person to call to the Department of Wildlife and you could have a whole lot of headaches. Like I said it probably would never happen although I would just feel nervous everytime I took my gliders out of the house. I would just be rather careful. Tim
