Actually, you might want to create a private glider chat room rather than a public one but then save it as a fav place and spread word that it's available. It will work just as well. Anytime you are in a public chat room your screen name is made available and you are added to junk mail lists...and I don't know about you...but I get enough junk mail as it is.

: AOL chat rooms created by members are temporary. Once it's been empty for a while...it'd removed. You pretty much have to create it every day. What you could do though is save it as a fav place and then when you are in, invite others to join you. Then they can also save it as a fav place. It will open automatically and it might catch on better that way.
