Hi Jay,
I would like to comend you on being concerned about your babies on the trip. If it were me I would try to take them on board with me. Mine i take out side while I mow the grass on a rider so I know the sound wouldn't bother her, Now the pressure thing has me a bit curious too. But people ship gliders by plane, I would think that if the pressure would bother them in your pocket I would have to assume that it would bother them in cargo. Only you can answer as to if you think they would sleep through it. Another option you may want to try is getting a shirt with pockets and putting snaps on it so they couldn't get out, two or three depending on the size of the pockets. As far as the crabbing petting them often through the shirt should alleviate that if they are bonded with you. As long as they feel safe..
But I am one to take my glider EVERYWHERE with me..

: Hello, my name is Jay, and I need to bring my two gliders
: with me on a return flight that will last about 45 minutes.
: One of my gliders is 10 months old and the other is about
: a month old, and I need to know if it is best to take
: them with me on my person, like in my pocket or in their
: glider pouch, or should I check them in through baggage
: somehow. In addition, does anyone know if the air
: pressure bothers or injurs them in any way. Also, will
: they suddenly begin crabbing because of the pressure
: change? Finally, I would appreciate it if you could
: respond directly to my e-mail address, JM27329@SWT.EDU,
: so I will get the information quicker. Thanks for any help
: you are able to send.
