I am trying to find a desert animal that is classified as an omnivore. I thought the ringtail was an omnivore because it eats kangaroo rats, insects, and fruits of native plants. However, in researching this animal, I have found that it is classified as a carnivore. I also want to make certain that a coyote is a carnivore, because I know they also eat both plants and animals. Can you give me the name of an omnivore that lives in the desert?
