Subject: breeding in trios... questions PLEASE ANSWER SOON! Posted by CandiMI on April 18, 1999 at 10:28:51: Hi everyone... I was just reading back in the 10/98 archives about breeding gliders in trios, and saw that a few people said the dominant female will kill the other females babies. I purchased my gliders a few months back, the one female had a joey oop tha tthe family kept as theirs and told me that the other female had joeys in the pouch but lost them both, I'm fairly sure that the female who had the baby is w/joey again, and I think the one who lost the two might be, I had thought that the problem might have been poor diet so i increased all of the diet and included more protein and calcium. But after reading those postings i'm wondering if mabye my dominant female killed the others joeys after hers was born... what wer your thoughts on this, should i seperate my submissive female and ifso can i put her back after all the babies are oop? Please answer asap since I believe they might both be w/joey right now and i dont want to lose any! THanks
