I'm sorry to hassle you about this again, but the concept
of wild caught gliders really disturbs me. From reading
your messages it seems that most people are responsible
owners/breeders who only deal in tame captive bred
animals, but through all the SG stuff I've read there are
lots of references to pet shops offering wild caught
gliders, and the difficulty people have with their wild
gliders. Does anyone know-
1) is it still legal to import gliders into the US
(and how can a petshop that sells wild animals keep its
license)?
2)Where do wild gliders come from? Since export of native
animals of any kind is practically impossible in
Australia, I presume these are from PNG/Indonesia.
