: I was wondering what is the best thing to clean your gliders cage with?

Hi there,

What ever you use make sure you rinse it thoroughly! That is the most important thing! Some people use bleach water, very small amount of bleach though I'm not sure of the suggested ratio, but I have used 1 Cup to a half of a bath tub. I usuall use this stuff called "Simple Green". It is an all purpose cleaner that is not-toxic and you can get it at the grocery store (same place you would find Windex). It is highly concentrated so make sure you read the back of the bottle for proper dilution ratio's. I use about 15:1. Spray the cage and scrub it 100%, outside and inside (if you can get inside). I scrub it over at least 2 times, then I rinse it with water using a clean rag. I rinse for a long time, sometimes I will just leave the cage in the tub with the shower running (I have one of those huge garden tubs, most people probably go outside with a hose).

I hope this helps, just remember, rinse rinse rinse!
