Good suggestions-
Also vinegar or baking soda or lemon juice are good
odor santizers and won't hurt your little ones. I use them
on my wood cage and it comes out great.

Also I use an all natural all-purpose camping liquid soap
called Dr. Braunners....you can find it in many nature stores.
it even comes in eucalyptus scent.
