You have to face the decision of either neutering or continuing to have joeys. Since you don't want to neuter the male, you will have joeys. Reducing the temperature is an experiment I would be very careful about. From my experience (I didn't purposely lower the temperature, but I had to be very careful about it dropping too low), I seriously doubt it will work. I hear more about deaths in gliders during the winter months where the owner didn't keep the temperature up.

My gliders had joeys, and then I neutered all the males when I didn't want them to have anymore. Think about your reasons for wanting them to have joeys and make a decision based on what you want and what is best for them. The neutering hasn't had any bad effects on my males.
