I'm not an expert, but have seen many gliders. It appears that when a glider is fully mature, it's not as silver/gray as when they're young. I haven't seen a young brown glider but have heard of someone having one sort of brown. Some adults get more brown than others. I have a couple adult males, one is much more gray and the other much more brown.
