: What I did was get my scent on a sock (I cut the sock in half, so there is two holes. I put the sock in my glider's (Church) Nest for a few days. He loved it. Then when I wanted to take him with me, I took the sock out and put it into the pouch. He went right in and few right asleep. Hope this helps.

Socks are not a good idea, many gliders have lost life and limb to them because their nails will pull threads and then they get them wrapped around their legs or their necks, or if male around other protruding parts and while trying to get untangled from these threads they just wind them around even tighter cutting off the circulation or strangling them. Wise people learn from the experiences of others so I am asking everyone please avoid socks and any other material that may have threads pulled from them easily.
