: Wow. Me and Kevin. Guess we just don't know how to word stuff so that it doesn't come across the wrong way.
Thanks, I hold no grudges Kim.

I feel sometimes that people on this list smother their gliders-my gliders love attention, but they also
like to be left alone to play by themselves quite a bit too. They get frustrated if they are playing and I
keep butting in or bringing them back to me. Sometimes mine like to be in their cage to play with their toys in
the pitch dark, not with me. And mine definately do not like to be carried around all day. It really does
depend on the glider. Even though gliders are sweet little pets, they still are wild animals too, not toys that get
dragged around everywhere. (ok, now I've offended a lot of people! :) )

I agree with you in that I think some people do get gliders for the wrong reasons,
but if this Xay is spending time with his glider and the glider isn't as friendly as others, maybe thats just the
glider, not the time spent. Maybe the glider is insecure in his surroundings and tramatized and needs to be left alone in its
cage for a few days without disruption so that it can get aquainted with its surroundings and feel like its cage is
a safe haven. Who knows. Time does matter, but there are other reasons too for a stand-offish glider. Maybe it
just doesn't like Xay! (just kidding, just kidding)
