I apologize if I offended you, I had no intention of doing so. Though I disagree with your opinion, it is just that: your opinion. Just as my opinion is my opinion. Neither is right or wrong. My glider would suffer greatly if I did not spend as much time with him as I do, which is usually 6-8 hours a day. I have neglected him and only had an hour or so the past few days and he is very angry, and crabs at me now, which he never did before. I have friends whose gliders act the same way. I also have friends who have a few gliders and the friends are not nearly as .. well,.. "in need" of a pocket pet as I am, and their gliders are as I was describing. They are just pets, and they hang around the house, check in and go back to their cage. They don't crave the companionship of their owner the way mine and the others do. That was my point in saying that if you are just looking for a cool pet instead of a friend, you don't need the long hours per day. Also, I wasn't suggesting that you were showing off, cuz I was writing to Xay, not you. I just don't want people to have gliders for the wrong reasons. I think our mutual goal is to share information so that gliders can have the happiest lives possible. I want to make doubly sure that you understand that I was in no way trying to slam you, or degrade you, or whatever it sounded like I was doing. That's the one crappy thing about the internet... you can't hear voice tones. Feel free to email me about anything else.. I'm really sorry I upset you. Sincerely, PS. Have I offended anyone else?
