Actually, some diets have fly pupae on the ingredients list.

: As to whether it would hurt your glider to eat a fruit fly... It probably wouldn't. I mean, when they are out in the wild they eat a lot of bugs and such. I wouldn't go *feeding* the flies to him, but if he eats a few it shouldnt hurt him
