I have a pair of Gliders (Alpha is male, and Betty is fem.).
Alpha is VERY protective of his older friend. I was bonding with Betty (I've had them about 2 months), but for the past month Alpha doesn't want her to come out of the cage let alone be approached. He's really made me sad, because I thought I was doing a good job here. I am nocturnal as well, and would love to lavish them with attention, but he doesn't wanna hear it! I give them treats, keep the place clean, talk to them constantly... am I really going to have to conceed to his anti-social nature. Or is HE just a "punk"? Anything resembling advice would be greatly appreciated.
