Just keep trying to bond with him. The trick I did with my male was that I'd take him while he was sleeping during the day and put him into the bonding pouch that I had made for him. So, when he woke up he'd see and hear me. Plus you can rub him while he sleeps so he can get used to your touch. After a couple of weeks of that he is as sweet and sweet can be. Just remember consistancy is the key and treats always help the situation along.
