Dear Michelle,

I might be wrong but its my understanding that once the baby leaves the pouch on its own it doesn't NEED to get back into the pouch, they simply have to get their heads in alittle to reach the nipples to nurse, if your glider is still nursing the baby I wouldn't be worried at all... two of mine were so big w/i a day after comming OOP that they COULDN'T get back in if they tried, and when they did mom would scream at them ( talk about stretch marks! )

If on the other hand this baby is hairless, or isn't nursing... grows cold to the touch, cries all the time etc... you MUST start feeding it yourself... I am in the middle of successfully supplimentially feeding two joeys right now, who came oop on mothers day... one still nurses now and then, the other doesn't at all... mom simply didn't produce enough milk, I had to place them in a pouch on a heating pad and feed every 2-3 hours... they are just over a month OOP now and I'm happy to say doing very well... I'm still feeding them but they have grown so much and I'm sure will make it!!

Best wishes, let us know what happens!
