Handle them as soon as you want. Start a little bit at a time and work up from there. The eyes will open approximately a week after coming out of the pouch. The mother should be getting plenty of insects or something similar. The babies should be in a warm place away from drafts. Check the nest first thing each morning to make sure the babies are sleeping with the mother. They will start licking the food quite awhile before they eat it...try a grape or apple juice every once in awhile.
