Sorry but that is by far the most inhuman thing that I've heard yet on gelding gliders. How would you feel if someone wanted to do that to you? I chose the most human way that I could. I took Griz to a vet and PAYED the $140.00 that she wanted to do this. It ways a very hard thing for me to do but she was good and she made Griz as comfortable as she could. He had to wear a tiny elizabethian collar so that he wouldn't chew his stitches and I had to hand ... feed, water and medicate him but it was all worth it to have a very healthy and little pained glider. I would only suggest this route to anyone. The tie off method was used on pigs and calves not really gliders and if you are too cheap to pay a vet then karma may get you in the end or naughty bits maybe. Glider love and NIBBLES, Diana
