Jaded,

I accidentally discovered that my gilder likes to chase strings like a cat does. I had hung a leash over his cage and the
next thing I know he's pulling it inside and chewing the heck out of it! So, I tried it with yarn while he's in my lap (but I don't
let him chew on it b/c he'll swallow bits of it). Maybe this will work for you?
Tara

I've just read several posts that talk about new Gliders that hang on glasses, wrestle and generally play. How do you do it? I am totally unsuccessfull in every attempt to get my SG's to interact with me. They will stay on my shoulder untill fully awake, then off they go until they fall asleep and are returned to their cage, go back to their cage by themselve or they are caught and returned due to some circumstance that dictates their return. I try to feed them during their "out" time but very little interest is shown by Zaire "he's still young" and Gia just snags what every it is and off again. If I keep moving it makes it more difficult for them to leave my shoulder but thats not the way I want to keep them around

: I Love them dearly and won't ever give them up, but I'm very ready for a little bonding to take place. We spend huge amounts of time with them sleeping between shirts. They interact with our hands in their pouch just like it was one of them, licking & cleaning our fingers when they wake. We often feed them by hand... Generally following all the bonding rules I've gotten here, but alass I have two unsociable SG's. I have to give them credit, I hardly ever get bloody anymore!!!

: Please respond if you have any comments that may shed some light on my problem.

: Thanks,
: Jaded
