Both my "kids" seem much happier to be allowed to play unhindered behind the sofa, or in the tree etc. They only interact with us while in their cage or while they are still mostly sleeping. Gia will take food then scurry off, Zaire stays away all together. I think they trust that we won't hurt them. However they still take off asap.

I do try to lay on the ground and call out their names, tease them with a long straw like stick, string, the belt on my robe, you know, things like that. But they show very little interest.

Anyway, thanks for the advise. When they do come around I'll have some good ideas on how to entertain them
