Subject: answering a few of your questions Posted by CandiMI on June 27, 1999 at 08:47:49: In Reply to: Im sorta new at this...Help requested.... posted by Narmi on June 27, 1999 at 06:50:53: First of all congrats on yer new little baby... vitamins: many places online you can order Glideraid, I believe you mix it with water 10pm is fine for feeding, remove the left over food in the am, mine like to sleep later at nite and get up later... so I dont usually remove the food till 11ish, and I always leave some dry food in the cage and usually some 1/2'd grapes for daytime snacking if they wake up there is nothing at all wrong with spending some time during the day with her, but this will be bonding, not playing time... actually if you get her up at the same time each day she'll most likely start waking up at this time on her own looking forward to seeing you, gliders are VERY social..and her being a lone glider she'll want and need even more attention... as for taking her places with you DO IT if you can, dont worry about her being "annoyed" she'll just fall asleep in your pocket or pouch, dont worry about sounds or movement etc, you'd be amazed what they will sleep through... plus she'll bond to you all that much sooner by getting used to your smells and sounds etc as for gliding, I cant be of all that much help, my adults weren't very tame and would just jump down from their cage top, often on my head LOL but with cats I cant risk they running around my room... my babies are just learning how to jump distances so I'll be learning just like you best wishes with your new little girl!
