About the gliding/jumping around thing, I have a glider who is 2yrs
old and she doesn't really glide. For about the first 10 months she actually
didn't do a whole lot-over the past year though she has gotten stronger and
stronger, her gliding membrane has developed more and more, and she has
become more sure of herself. She hops around a lot now, and takes longer jumps,
but never really has glided. I'm hoping someday she will! I think though she is
just a late bloomer and slow developer. So maybe its the same with your glider--Just continue with
the good diet, lots of exercise time and love, and she'll probably come along fine.
I wouldn't suggest helping her glide by tossing her or anything, she eventually learn
once she gets more confident.
