David, I understand where you are coming from. I even understand your anger. What I do not understand is why you did not step back and curb that anger before writng such a scathing post. That is the reason for the angry responses that you are recieving. Not because anyone feels that you are not justified in being angry, it's because of how you choose to deal with your anger.
The people on this board are thrilled to bits to be able to find such a site as this one. As you said, you searched all over the internet looking for glider info. We have all done the same. People have gliders dying for no apparent reason. People are scared that their gliders will also die because of a lack of information. I believe this is why your post was recieved with so much hostility. You do not have a market on glider research. Many of us have read and reread everything we can get our hands on, made long distance calls, etc. I freely share my hard found information with others because I, too, want to learn MORE.
I did not reply earlier because I was too furious, not the best time to write a post. You have ostresized (sp?) quite a few glider owners by displaying your anger so completely.
I, also, will not order from you now. Not because of the copyright infringement issue - but because your unprofessional manner of dealing with this has left a bad taste in my mouth.
I am very sorry that this happened the way it did. It could have been avoided if you had written to Terry in an unthreatening manner.
