I live in Western Pennsylvania and I have been calling vets around my hometown (2 hours away), my current location (east of Pittsburgh), and around my boyfriend's house (Harrisburg.) Most have said the typical, "What's a sugar glider," but this one takes the cake. I called an animal clinic in Harrisburg and asked them if they do exotics. The secretary said "Oh yes, actually exotics are kind of our specialty." So I ventured, "Do you do sugar gliders?"
To which she happily replied, "Oh yes, ma'am, we do reptiles of all kinds!"

Yikes.
