I think this is a bad idea. I agree with Kim. Keep them in separate cages. You cannot always assume that two gliders who have ever met will get along. Experienced people always say "Put them in cages next to each other". Are you prepared to have your baby possibly get attacked and maimed? I don't think separate rooms are needed, but if it were me, I would insist on separate cages.
