I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, (and I hope noone holds it against me) but the more I've thought about this, the more I think Pawprint is taking some really unfair heat. I appreciate Terry's hard work to make this great site - I don't know how I would have made it this far with my SG without everyone's help. By the same token, we really need people like the folks at Pawprint to keep doing research on our little buddies. For myself, I want to be as supportive of that as possible. I don't think it is wrong of David to expect credit for his work. I had a real problem when I thought he had publicly blasted Terry, but it seems Terry was the one who decided to post the private messages. I hope David's whole experience will not discourage other researchers and SG lovers from providing info. to the general public...I guess I just don't really understand why everyone feels like they can't continue to support someone who is basically just asking for credit for his work. By the way, I would be
glad to help Terry rewrite the database or get permission for the copied work. And no, I don't work for Pawprint, or even know anyone there. Just my own opinion. Hope noone is offended. :) Tiffany
