You guys have been discussing hissing for awhile now. When the discussion first began I was confused. I have had gliders for over a year and never heard hissing, until last week. I have a male glider that thinks of himself as a cassanova. He lives with twin girls that are 5 months oop. He has a girlfriend who hates the twins and refuses to live in harmony with the other three so she lives alone. Every few days Petey will ask me to let him visit his lady friend. After two days with her he is frantic to go back into his cage with the twins. I had just commented on how odd it was that the neither Eloise or the twins act threatened by his visits. WHAM! I put him back in with the twins after he had spent two days with Eloise and one of the twins attacked him and chased him screaming. I rann over to see what the problem was and heard a snake hissing behind me! I turned around and there was Eloise in her cage watching Petey be attacked and she was hissing! It sounded exactly like a snake. This is the only time that I have heard this sound from any of my gliders. She sounded mad. REALLY, really mad that Petey was being attacked.
