The facts are out there and a lot of people had their own opinions on the matter then, and to be honest I was glad when that conversation had fizzled. I use a rule of thumb to feed mine I tell people everything we SHOULD eat but most of us don't. NO salts, sugars, additives, presevatives, cheese, or fats. That if you do give these thing to use it in mine-ute portions. If we didn't do anything that may casue cancer then we wouldn't be able to go oputside, eat, or breathe. I have 2 very happy, healthy, gliders that just this morning gave birth to 2 joeys. they get a WIDE variety of foods, some of which isn't the best for them but they like it, but I give them a tiny little bit. You have to use common sense if you notice your glider acting strange don't give then that food. We gave ours strawberrys and it gave them diarerra, It didn't take a rocket scientist to tell us they had a reaction to it. I didn't come on here and tell everyone NOT to give their glider strawberrys. Gliders are like people each one has its own intolerace to different foods. If my glider gets cataracts, what is it that caused it? Their pudding? the fact I carry them with me al day and sometimes the are in the sunlight? low sugar? old age? are they missing something from their diet? NO ONE would know for sure. There isn't enough research done for ANYONE to make judgements reguarding that issue. They are our babies, as with parents who give the kids candy bars.. a little won't kill them..

There is a product called "Lactaid 100" It is yoguart
with no lastose in it which is a little better than
regular yoguart. I haven't been able to find it anywhere
but there are people on a couple other lists that say
their gliders love it. None of my 18 gliders like yougart
anyhow.
