: The reponses that followed let you know that yes they may be a pain and yes you may not want to take them from the cage.. Also they let you know that sometimes gliders may not want to cuddle. They also told you they will go to the bathroom where ever they are at the time and very few people have potty trained a glider. I am one of the few but accidents still happen. They don't go to an area when they need to go to the bathroom. They will go on your shirt, arm, even on your head. For a while they "skunk" you and it smells awful. If the glider is scared it will just sit there and do nothing. Everything that you don't want may happen. Still you wish someone to convince your parents that you should have a glider. I am very serious about wanting a pet because it is cute. If you think you want a glider read this link.. by the sound of your post you are looking for a perfect pet. Gliders have their downsides as with all pets.
