It's been 4 months since i adopted my daughters neglected 8 month old glider. I've watched him go from inhibited, scared, depressed to vibrant and healthy with some meat on his bones!!!!! His reaall change really came about with the addition of 4 month old lucy 2 weeks ago. I thank all of you guys for all the help on this site and glidernetwork. some of you I've talked to on the phone , elwin and terry,and of course bourbon has added lots to my knowledge!! and I appreciate all the advice. I'm just thankful that my daughters neglect of alex (I know he wasn't fed right, his cage was never cleaned, and he lived in a sock!!! food was left for months!!!) hasn't seemed to result in any permanent harm. He still has the hairless spots on his ears that he got when my husband and i went on vacation for 4 days though. god loves gliders!!!
