Hi y'all! I haven't had a service provider, so i haven't visited here for a while... i don't really have much to say, except that i've had my two gliders for a little over a month now, and they're spoiled silly. the girl (gabby) bonded within the first week, but kiki the boy took a little longer. i think it took him a while because when i first tried to carry him, he jumped off of me, and he got scared whenever i tried to scoop him up... after that incident he would bite me (and hard!) for about a week... now he's a bigger sweetie than gabby (she's the more independent, adventurous one)!
i FINALLY learned how to tell them apart by their dorsal stripes about two weeks ago... before that, i just knew that one of them was friendly and the other wasn't. didn't know which was which.
they seem very happy. the only thing i feel a little guilty of is that i don't give them enough active time outside their cage... i'm super paranoid about all the electric cords in my room... i have a big fake tree that they love to play on, and i'm thinking of hanging ropes from the cieling so that they'll stay away from the floor... does anyone have any advice that worked for them??? thanks!
