Up till then it is bonded to his parents and connot possibly bond to you. I can't discuss this anymore it sickens me to think of a 6 week old baby being stolen away from its parents. THIS IS NOT A FLAME, but the subject is very sore for me. Please do not even consider it. Give the owners half up front and tell them you'll pay the rest when he is ready to be brought home at twelve weeks, if it is a breeder or petstore with one that young for sale turn them into the the USDA.
