Dana, They are legal in Oregon. 'Cause if not, then I bought one from an illegal breeder in Portland! If you're close enough to the border to drive for vet visits, then try and go for it. I know that will be a very unpopular opinion, and you will have to weight the negs agains the pos. Other people have written here and suggested to check the ISGA page for specific details on which states are legal or not. You could join the CA. ferret owners who are fighting for legality and get a "sugar glider" clause attatched! : :Dana, : Hey there. I live in Georgia where Sugargliders are also illegal and there is hope. My parents live in Virginia and found one for my sister and I and we got it's cage and everything there. We shipped the cage, toys and gliderbooster via UPS and we bought a plane ticket for our "New Guinea hamster" from Delta. Delta is the only airline that allows small pets on the plane, and only domestic animals but we put her in her fabric pouch and then put it in a plastic small animal cage and flew her in under our seat. They asked to look at her on the way through security and that's where she became a "New Guinea hamster" It worked and now we own our little Anastasia in Georgia! Just find one in Oregon, if they are legal there, and buy her a plane ticket with you. Or if your close enough just drive there and buy one. It's easy. Good luck! ~Katy
