Thanks so much to the both of you for your help. I was concerned about doing this and am glad to have gotten your responses. I do have an exotic animal vet in my neighborhood. Although he has never done gliders, he has done lots of other exotics and I am asumming (hoping??) all will be OK....thanks again..alice
