After reading Tiffani's message to me I went to Bourbons page and read all about diets. I went to other diet links and read that information too. I am now more confused than ever. Tiffani told me to chck into the typs of veggies that I was feeding Flea and thus far I have found nothing written about specific types of veggies. I did read that Iceburg lettuce was bad and that is why I gave him red leaf luttuce. I am doing what was suggested by trying different typs of veggies. He does not eat carrots and he does not eat peas but he likes green beans and he likes lettuce. I have not tried broccoli yet. As far as fruit goes, I have not been to the store this week so all I have at home is grapes and blueberries. I read that apples are not good for them so I have not given him any. I have meal worms for my gecko but so far Flea wont take them. I will try crickets to see if I get a better response. I will not give him parrot feed anymore because I have read (and Tiffani said) that it was not good for them. I got the parrot feed idea from a book at the pet store on Sugar Gliders. I kind of felt attacked by Tiffani for the foods that I was trying but I have done so much research and everyone seems to be saying something different. I guess I just took little bits of what each person was saying and tried to make a diet out of it.I am so afraid of making Flea sick by not giving enough supplement or giving too much suppliment. Now in my mind I have, "feed fruit and vegetables but not just any vegetable or fruit, feed high quality cat food, never feed cat food, feed meal worms daily, don't feed too many mealworms because they will make him fat, feed fruit and veggie parrit mix, never give bird food". So far the only thing that has not been criticesed is the leadbeaters. I guess that is universally accepted. Does anyone know what fruits and vegetables are best for a sugar glider?
