Subject: Play Areas

Lots of us have talked about putting ropes from the ceiling, trees in our houses, blankets on the walls - We have changed our houses and made them glider playgrounds. Marmalito mentioned that he wanted to keep his away from the wires. I am curious - how many people have gliders that are not afraid to go down on the floor? All of my gliders love the floor (I hate this). Bourbon believes the reason for this is because I put their food dishes on the floor of their cages. In my next house I plan to have a giant tree, with no branches as a column going from the floor to the ceiling. I will most likely have to remove part of the ceiling and redo it to make it fit, but hey, my gliders are worth it! My husband and I are in the process of trying to build and design a running area around the room that will be at the top of all 4 walls. The hard part will be cleaning the pee and poop, which will require completely dismantling it. We were impressed with the ones made out of plexiglas. Others have used PVC pipe (how can you see them in there?). Anyone else do anything special to their houses for their gliders?
