spend some time with licky substances on your fingers everytime you go near him, BEFORE he is done licking it all off, pull your finger away. teach him to lick you instead. Also what are you feeding him? could he be missing something in his diet? what about his insects? If he is used to getting mealies, he may be looking at your fingers as super mealworms? hence the smelling first..
