: spend some time with licky substances on your fingers everytime you go near him, BEFORE he is done licking it all off, pull your finger away. teach him to lick you instead. Also what are you feeding him? could he be missing something in his diet? what about his insects? If he is used to getting mealies, he may be looking at your fingers as super mealworms? hence the smelling first..

one night i was sitting on my sofa. it was late at night
and my glider started making these really weird noises.
so the next day he was bitting me and nipping and i could
feel that he had more teeth in his mouth. it felt like his
k-9 teeth had came out a little bit more and there was 2 more teeth
in the back of his mouth. ever since then it feels like he does have more teeth
i think teething is one of the things we won't really know fully about and if they do
teeth. i think they do or atleast mine did. just when your glider nips
let him nip and see if u feel like more teeth or bitting you
thats the only way to tell. other wise i like bourbons idea.
