My gliders (i have five) all come when I call them but not to their names. Mine come to a sound that I make which is like a tongue-rolling purr. I also use a clicking sound when I have treats for them and they all know what these two sounds mean. My gliders also fly to me if I just hold out my hand, it seems to be a game to them.
