This would be a whole seperate can of worms, the base may have its own issues about illegal animals being imported.
Also don't forget, if they are illegal there, then there are no vets that will treat them. When something happens to them, they would die from lack of medical care...and you would be left helplessly watching them die. And if someone found out about them, they would eunthanize your gliders.

I would be heartbroken, but if I was in your shoes, I would find my gliders a new home, because to keep them would be cruelty. I'm really really sorry.
