I am only getting one, for at least awhile, so I will probably never breed, and if I do that will be awhile away. I donot think that breeders should sell at all to pet stores, ecept maybe in some very rare cases. Breeding for profit is most likely not going to put the glider in a good home. I have seen a few pet stores that sell them, and I don't feel that the situation is at all healthy or happy for the gliders. I would say that if breeders were to be careful about whom the sell the gliders to, and the effects of breeding on their gliders, then it wouldn't be a big issue. The problem is that it seems as if a lot of people are carelessly breeding ( no one I have read about in here}. I am however greatful that some true glider lovers do breed, because how else could I buy a well treated and loved glider from soemone with experience. So as far as I can tell breeding seems to be ok if done responsibly, and I am glad to see that the people here care so much about who buys their babies. If many years from now I were ever to have babies, and want to sell them I am sure I would ahve a hard time parting with them. For all of you being responsible breeders I thank you, and keep up the good work.
