: I'm a little concerned about my gliders. This is a problem I've had ever since I've owned them, but for some reason I didn't think to ask. Anyway, I can't really get them to eat anything with protein in it. Both of my gliders are way picky about what they want and it is usually only their fruit. I have been giving them a cherry desert baby food that contains egg yolks in it and they love that, but I don't really believe it is enough. Does anybody have any suggestions concerning some alternate ideas on how to get them their needed protein?

mine won't eat leadbeatters, if your's does wonderful. if he doesn't try glideraide, it has 13% protien. what have you tried to feed him, mine love scrambled eggs,(use a non stick pan to scramble them in without butter or oil), canned chicken (98%fat free) don't use gerbers baby sticks, they have onion powder in them which is poisonous to pets. an occasionally tuna fish. also try mixing baby food (stage 2) chicken with applesause or other fruit. I also give mine some yougurt (low fat, 30% protien) with baby food carrots or yams.
