as much as some people think gliders need to be in groups, that is not always the case, Many gliders love being the boss glider, they have learned their people are a great substitute for one of their species.. But what I have just read, is that you all are wanting a colony situation, outside of not having separate cages, why is it you want them in as a group, if that isn't what they want? I have a friend who at one time had 7 different cages, just because the gliders, didn't want to be in the same cage with the others. introductions of all kinds were tried .. The best I could add, is to try to introduce them through neutral territory, a room where none has been, a cage neither has been in, with all things inside being new.. not washed but new.. Also if you have 2 males you are trying to introduce, i suggest neutering them, but that still is no guarantee. The miracle cure you all are looking for doesn't exist.. that is like throwing 5 sever adhd kids into a room and closing the door behind them.. but the gliders may kill each other defending their turf.. But integragating them into a colony, with mates, won't achieve what I think you want. they will not just pair off and each one doing their own thing.. The alpha glider will always have final say, the alpha female as well. so if the joeys are in a beta female, the alpha female may (more times than not) kill the joeys. the Alpha male may try to kill any beta male who trys to do it with any of the females. There has been many posts regarding the colony situations. and the truth of the matter is, in the wild, there is plenty of room to run and hide, you don't have that in captivity.. so in essance you have dead gliders, who had no place to go..
