Well, as far as the e-collars go, reat the "real stories" page. I read a couple that had
these collars, one good, one bad. One had a special made, actual surgery
joey collar, and the other used -- get this -- a cut piece of x-ray film! Ack! before
I read on, I knew it would result in a sliced up neck - which it did. I know these
are the things you are concerned about in e-collars. If you need to make one, I would
use some kind of soft cardboard. hope this helps any!
