Yesterday I spent a lot of time with my friend Marie(she posts here soemtimes). She bought her glider from a pet store, which gave her some wrong info. She don't know exactly how old he is. Anyways she has had soem problems with him biting, and not wanting to be around her. She posted that here before. Anyways she has read Bourbon's bonding page, and has had soem breathroughs recently. I have recently spent some time with Bourbon, and decided to try the things I saw her doing with her gliders. I laid my hand in front of Percy real slowly, and let it sit beside him. He did bite me one time, but when I didn't pull away he gave up. He didn't ever try to bite me again when I got close. After a few tries he ran over my hand. Eventually he actually ran up my arm. He decided to sit on my head for a little while, then he glided to the bed. Anyways..several times I got him to run on me, glide off of me, or let me pet him. At the end of the day we gave him some baby food to lick off of us as a treat for being so good. It was a great time, and I hope that with time he will become even more comfortable with people.
