: I've had my glider since the last part of November, when she was weaned. She was reluctant to come to my for awhile, so I put a little bead of honey on the tip of my finger when I see her in the morning, which she loves. I also do the same at night when I come home and take her out of the cage. Most of the time she likes to doze inside my shirt in the early evening hours. Her regular diet is Brisky's sugar glider food, plus occasional raisins and grapes. A teaspoon of baby food twice a week with vitamins sprinkled on top. She gets a lot of exercise on her wheel and doesn't seem to be fat. Is the honey okay or has anyone heard anything against it. It's just a little bead twice a day -- but boy, does she love it.

Actually, all of the leadbeater's recipes I've seen, which seems to be a highly preferred diet, contain honey. So, I wouldn't sweat it one bit!
